Adults age 55+ in Gillette and Wright are invited to attend Campbell County Public Library's seven-week Creative Aging Gnome House mixed media art class. The Wright class will be hybrid – in-person creation at WBL with online instruction from CCPL. Participants must be able to attend seven weekly classes on Wednesdays, April 3 through May 15, from 1-3:30pm (April 11 class is 3-5pm, May 15 class starts at 2pm).

All supplies are provided for this free class. Priority given to students who have not yet participated a CCPLS Creative Aging class.

Students in this class will:

  • create a simplified version of the pictured house
  • create gnomes, flowers, etc., with oven-bake clay
  • experiment with mixed media, sculpting with tin foil, masking tape, and paper towels
  • paint your creation
  • connect with other seniors
