Fused Glass Grant Class

Campbell County Public Library is pleased to announce another Creative Aging grant class, Fused Glass with Thunder Basin High School’s art teacher, Roxanne West.  This class is an introduction to basic glass cutting skills, proper use of work space, safety and the terminology, tools, and techniques of fusing and slumping kiln formed glass. Each lesson will build on previous knowledge beginning with history, methods, color theory, use of equipment and safety. We will make plant stakes, sun catchers, slumped plates or bowls and a standing sculpture.
