Thinking about starting your own business? Looking for money to start or expand your small business? Prepare for the challenge at the Start Your Own Business (SYOB) workshop on Thursday, January 23 at 5:30pm at Campbell County Public Library.
This workshop, sponsored by the Wyoming SBDC Network, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and Campbell County Public Library (CCPL), is designed to help potential new business owners explore the pros and cons of owning a business and evaluate the skills and knowledge necessary for success. Learn about investigating the potential of your idea; identifying your target market; and free resources to assist you along the way, thanks to Wyoming Library to Business which provides resources to start, pivot, or grow your small business. Additionally, the workshop will cover financing options from 500 dollars to 5.5 million dollars, as well as where to access the capital you need to start or grow your business.
Presenters:
P.J. Burns, Wyoming SBDC Network NE Regional Director, is a Wyoming native and is passionate about helping small business succeed. She has a background in marketing, Human Resources, strategic planning, leadership, and management. P.J. received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Wyoming and is also a graduate of the US Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organizational Management.
Becky Prelle, CCPL Reference Services Specialist, is the library’s liaison for Wyoming Library to Business, a community expert in Foundation Directory, and a Candid Trainer. Becky brings a wealth of expertise in business information and non-profit support.
