Join us, as the darkness settles in and the wind picks up to skitter the fallen leaves, for a night of haunted-spooky-creepy-scary fun!
In partnership with Gillette Community Theatre, Campbell County Public Library is proud to present a Haunted Author Ghost Walk on this spooky Halloween eve.
Join us anytime between 7 and 8:30pm for a very haunted tour among the library stacks to meet the authors of some of the creepiest storytelling we know today. Your guide will introduce you various authors, the likes of which Mary Shelley, Bram Stoker, Shirley Jackson, and Edgar Allan Poe. Hear them speak about themselves, their work, and the enduring delight we have in scaring each other and ourselves. Tours leave every 10 minutes from the library lobby and end in the atrium with apple cider to chase away those chills.
Between 8 and 8:30pm, guides will step away to allow guests to return to the stacks and visit the authors as they wish.
Best suited for ages 12+.
