Event Details

Campbell County Public Library welcomes MaLinda Perry, American Society of Interior Designers Practitioner (ASID), to help you get positive energy flowing through your home to start off the new year. Learn all about Feng Shui, which literally translates from Chinese as "the way of wind and water," during this three-part class.

Feng Shui Introduction:  Wednesday, January 8 • 6pm
Feng Shui is a four thousand year old system of analyzing and altering the flow of energy in any environment to produce desired change. During this introductory class, MaLinda will teach you about how energy or “chi” can be used to promote happiness, prosperity, and good health, and feeling more energized, positive, and passionate about life.

Feng Shui Home Mapping:  Wednesday, January 15 • 6pm
MaLinda will help you get down to the nitty gritty to get your home energy flowing properly. You'll learn about clutter and chaos, chi and balance, and yin, yang, and tao. Your homework following this class will be to map out your own home.

Feng Shui Home Application: Wednesday, January 22 • 6pm
And finally, MaLinda will show you how to apply the bagua to your home map and begin to determine how to surround yourself with positive chi (energy).
