Campbell County Public Library is delighted to welcome musician Andy Mason for a festive evening of music and history on Tuesday, December 16 at 6pm.

In A Brief History of Christmas Music, Andy and the audience will join together in an engaging, interactive singalong that explores 400 years of holiday music in a 60-minute program. From 16th-century English carols to beloved modern classics, Mason traces the evolution of Christmas music with fascinating stories and trivia along the way.

Ever wondered who wrote The Twelve Days of Christmas? Why Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer remains a seasonal favorite? Or which Christmas tune was the first to be performed in outer space? You’ll discover the answers to these questions—and more—through this lively, family-friendly performance.

This special program is a perfect way to celebrate the season, learn something new, and sing along to holiday favorites with friends and family.
